I qualified in 2006 from Leeds University and spent several years working as an associate dentist honing my skills, chairside manner and ethos in reducing dental anxiety. I became principal dentist of Winterton Dental in 2012 and have since modernised the practice, creating a calming environment for our patients.

Outside of dentistry I have a young family who keep me busy but I enjoy playing music and am part of a band. I enjoy any sport and am a fan of Middlesbrough FC.

I studied dentistry at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne qualifying with honours. After 10 years in Private and NHS general practice, I became actively involved in Foundation Dental Training and have completed more than 16 years of training newly qualified dentists.

My interest in implantology began in 2009 whilst working with Manchester's maxillofacial surgeons and completed a one-year surgical and restorative PG Certificate in Implantology in 2012. I have now successfully placed and restored over 1000 implants. I focus on giving patients choice and time to discuss options along with providing high quality dental care. I have a keen interest in running, golf and walking my dogs.

I joined Winterton Dental in 2017. I have a caring nature and have worked closely with Andrew to build a soothing and caring environment. Outside of work I enjoy playing netball.
